The Bible is Our Only Authority

The Bible is the sole authority in all we believe and do.  Because we believe it to be the inspired word of God, we strive to follow its mandates for how we should live and worship.  The Bible supercedes all human traditions and creeds (Galatians 1:8-9; Revelations 22:18-19).

We Embrace God's Unity

We call ourselves the church of Christ because we believe the Bible's teachings:

  • Only the name of Jesus saves (Ephesians 1:21-23)
  • Only Christ can add souls to His Kingdom (Acts 2:41)
  • The Bible gives the name of Christ's church (Romans 16:16)
  • Christ's church is non - denominational (1 Corinthians 1:13)
God's Plan of Salvation
What Does The Bible Teach?

The Bible gives us a clear roadmap that we must follow to live with Him in eternity:

  • Hear The Gospel of Christ (Romans 10:17; Acts 2:37)
  • Believe The Gospel (Mark 16:18; John 8:24)
  • Repent of Sin (Acts 2:38; Luke 13:3)
  • Confess Christ as Lord (Matthew 10:32-33; Romans 10:9-10)
  • Be Baptized (Mark 16:18; 1 Peter 3:21)
  • Be Faithful (Revelations 2:10; Hebrews 5:9)

Elements of Worship
What Does God Expect from our Worship Service?

The Bible teaches that there are five "acts of worship."   Each Sunday in our worship assembly, we passionately perform each act:

  • We sing a capella (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16)
  • We pray (1 Timothy 2:8)
  • We study God's Word (Romans 10:14)
  • We give (1 Corinthians 16:2)
  • We partake in the Lord's Supper (Acts 20:7)
